Your Contribution

  • Complete planned maintenance based on work orders.
  • Install, repair, maintain, troubleshoot, and monitor systems hardware for the HVAC temperature, humidity, and room pressures.
  • Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot light machinery and process equipment.
  • Maintain an organized shop area and care for specialized testing equipment.
  • Communicate with production and quality departments to ensure work is coordinated with production schedule and completed in accordance with company quality standards.
  • Participate in root cause analysis, documentation of deviations, and assist in corrective actions.
  • Positively support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Participate in the on-call schedule for the Maintenance Team.

What it Takes

  • Post-secondary degree or certificate in engineering, industrial maintenance, process control, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years trades experience with a relevant red seal trade certification.
  • Practical understanding of mechanical systems and controls.
  • Previous building maintenance and HVAC experience.
  • Experience with instrument calibration would be considered an asset.
  • Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), and in a GMP environment is preferred.
  • Ability to work in clean rooms (gowning required) in line with quality management, and work on unique equipment.
  • Competent use of Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license.
