Your Contribution 

  • Document all maintenance activities as per Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements.
  • Ensure document retention procedures are followed, retrieving documents as required.
  • Assist with planning and scheduling corrective and preventive maintenance activities by task and priority level.
  • Maintain the preventative maintenance equipment system to track all equipment.
  • Record and document the type and cost of repair work needed, operating within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Work with Contractors, etc. to assist in maintenance scheduling, etc.
  • Manage work orders and invoices through the ERP system.
  • Work closely with the Quality and Production Teams, attending meetings as required.
  • Support the Production and Quality Teams during audits and inspections from internal and external auditors.
  • Ensure safety is prioritized on all maintenance tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What it Takes

  • Post-secondary education in a related field.
  • 2-3 years’ experience working in food safety or medical environments.
  • Experience with Quality Assurance and in a GMP environment would be considered an asset.
  • General understanding of maintenance systems and experience with an ERP system is preferred.
  • Able to work well with others inside and outside the department.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Sound problem solving, decision-making, analytical thinking, planning, and execution skills.
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize.
  • Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office applications.
